Companies are always looking to make an impact on their main shows; whether it's pyrotechnics, live performances, or just special guest stars coming in to the show every week to give it that little extra push. But, with EWN, it appears that's not even enough.
After talks, it was announced today by EWN co-owner, Ivory, that they had plans for a special guest star to come from the celebrity world every week and be a part of the show. And it appears they found their man. After talks, it was released that actor and musician, Jared Leto, has been brought in under contract to work with EWN.
Leto after a meeting with Ivory and The Rock
The celebrity heart-throb came in to speak with the owners over being a part of the EWN world on show after he was contacted over it.
"It's big for us all - my career is obviously getting increased in this, I've taken this on and I've never done anything in terms of the wrestling world before; this is new for me, but it's going to be exciting. As long as I can entertain the people watching at home, this will all be a great endeavor."
There has been some talk of Leto's band, 30 Seconds to Mars, putting on a live performance with EWN, however time will tell if that is or is not on the card.
When asked, The Rock said that "this was going to be great for the fans - they see yet another face that they like to see, and it gives people something to look forward to if their favourite star is perhaps injured or unable to compete that night; there's always someone there just to make them smile."
There is speculation that not all the superstars will be happy about it, but the question will be simple; are they going to keep the peace and let it slide? Or will we see conflict on the opening show?
Warzone will re-continue it's viewing on October 10th - we'll find out all about the results come then.
